I'm a bit uncertain about the found fly - can maybe someone help me or point me in a direction where to look further? At first glance, it appears like a Dolichopodidae to me, but the fery strong femora of the hind legs seem a bit unusual. I collected this species in the South Pacific. I am happy about any input or suggestions ![]() Thank you for your help Sebastian basti_st attached the following image: ![]() [247.18Kb] Edited by basti_st on 02-08-2021 07:26 |

I think Pseudorichardia (Platystomatidae). |
