Hello Morgan
the specimen is actually a Lauxanid - these are often confused with Lonchaeidae - but note in photo 4 the additional long setae on the frons.

Thank you! I was a bit confused with this one, but the halters looked black to me so i ended up at Lonchaeidae, thanks for the link I will check better next time!

Yes, I would say Laxania cylindricornis. Hopefully I shall not be wrong this time...Smile
