Have you got a full reference for that? I don't think I know it, and it might be useful for a project I am starting next year - effect of different grazing systems on diptera populations.

I just noticed your Location - Grin and ditto.

And you will be glad to know that I managed to read all of your posts whilst eating my lunch.

Full refference for which? my study or Skidmore?

my study is yet to be published, its being submited just before chrismas to a forensics journal...

the Other is Skidmore, P. (1985) The Biology of the Muscidae of the World. Series entomologica Volume 29 Dr Junk Publishers. Dordrecht

Good to hear you read my other posts and kept your lunch! i had to give a talk on forensic entomology and some of the audience didnt!

Biology of the Muscidae of the World - der! Should have realised. Unsurprisingly, I don't have it. Must see if I can find out who's got the nearest copy.

ReallySmile Still slightly more than I can justify just now, but at least I know it's worth keeping my eye on. Thanks.
