Dear all,
on 10/13/2020 I found this fly in the forest in Berlin, Germany sitting on a fallen tree of Fagus sylvatica.
Do you know the species? Many thanks in advance.
Best,
Adrian

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
