Hi everyone

I just created a Google discussion group called Photentomo international.
There are many good disciussion groups on the web (this one being of course a distinguished example - and I mean it) but yet I decided to have a go at it anyway.
The new group is really an international extension of the French-speaking Yahoo group Photentomo, to which, by the way our revered webmaster Paul is a regular contributor.,Cool
The point is that the present (French) Photentomo is perhaps a less ambitious endeavour than most, half-way between macrophotography and general entomology, caring (or trying to) for the needs of amateurs of all levels. The emphasis has been on helping beginners in either or both fields of macrophotography and entomology.
Needless to say, the task requires the help of "real" specialists, and the relative success of Photentomo over the years seems to indicate that everybody involved is having fun with the concept.
So, I thought maybe there would be a niche for the same relaxed, general interest group in English, and there it is at
photentomo@googlegroups.com

Cheers
Philippe
