struggling with differentiation of Crumomyia and Copromyza - am I right here?

Probably Crumomyia fimetaria
If you look at the scutellum, Copromyza has several longish, fine setulae between the basal and apical scutellars, with Crumomyia you may get one small fine pair or with C nitida a tiny hair between the thorax and basal scutellar - using this is easier sometimes than trying to work out how many rows of postocular setae there are.
