Hi,
Though we had some snow today, an about 5 mm long gnat sat on the house wall. I am not sure about the family, and a genus name would be highly appreciated.
Thanks, Sundew

We just had a Trichocera discussion in Niek's thread, but Trichocera seems to have a much more complex wing venation, as I learned from the gallery. Other ideas?

Yep, that's it! No wonder I could not find it in the gallery; the family is still missing. Do you find any of my pics clear enough to be of advantage for the gallery, or is there anybody who has better ones to fill the gap?
Many thanks for ID indeed, Sundew

You can all submit photo's (Sundew, make certain they are full pictures, not the collage) and I will see if hey can but added to the Gallery. I think J?rgen's will certainly make it to there. Wink
