Hello, it seems this larva is a Scaeva sp, possibly S. selenitica.

Photo taken on May 8th, 2018, 20 km NW of Paris.

Your opinion ?

Hi Bernard, it looks more like an Eupeodes sp. - Scaeva has a central white line.

Greetings, Eric

Hello,

I think it looks like Scaeva selenetica which is quite différent of S. pyrastri whose dorsal line is continuous.

It remembers me this thread : https://diptera.i...pid=254498
But I am not a spécialist !
