In my verandah, in southwest of France, I found near the window which would appear to be a Therevidae. In this site ( https://journal.fi/entomolfennica/article/view/84287/43358 ) it is said : "Front tibia longer than front femora. Head(in dorsal view) as broad as mesonotum.Front femora with anteroventral bristles.Mesonotum with distinct light longitudinal stripes. Anterior part of tergites 2–5 with dark bandextending medially near to posterior edge (posterior of tergites 2–4 with complete bandofgrey pollen)". Does everything correspond to one Thereva microcephala ?? Thank Williams Here's two photos: ![]() williams : France : Saint-Gaudens : 31800 : 30/05/2025 Altitude : 410 m - Taille : au alentour de 15 mm Réf. : 359804 and ![]() williams : France : Saint-Gaudens : 31800 : 30/05/2025 Altitude : NR - Taille : au alentour de 15 mm Réf. : 359847 Edited by williams on 12-08-2025 21:26 |
