Hello!

This rather big (10 mm) Sciomyzid was whisking on Angelica sylvestris leaves at a moist place in the forest yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Mostly running it was doing only short flights from one leaf to another. Could it be Tetanocera (cf. hyalipennis?)? Thanks in advance!

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
