Hi All,

I am not sure where to start with the ID for this one as it is quite crushed, I was wondering if anyone has an idea from the wing veins, habitus and the long bare arista?

many thanks!

Medetera – veins R2+3 and M parallel with each other but not with R4+5; apical arista.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
