Hello, is it possible to conclude group rosae / nigricornis here?

I base myself on criteria which seem visible to me, or which can be guessed from the photo despite the lack of definition: black pronotum including humerus, yellow legs, 2 pairs of dorso-central setae.

The third antennal section seems very little dark, but I understand that this is insufficient to exclude nigricornis.

Thank you

Luc

If necessary, I can show a more telling view of the pronotum (where I can count 2 pairs of dorsocentral setae) or a more telling view of the face

That being said it should indeed run to the pair of rosae and nigricornis (assuming the whole of the pleura is dark).

I tried to number what I see of the bristles, I hope I haven't misinterpreted. If this was the case, I thank you in advance for your indulgence!

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
