Larvae (around 1-2mm) found in Nepenthes carnivorous pitcher plant, Peninsular Malaysia.

More likely is Ceratopogonidae

I think it is a Cecidomyiidae, sorry Paul. However, i do not have experience with larvae from that faunal area, so not sure though.

The long hairs are like those of Forcipomyia larvae.

I agree with Forcipomyia having long hairs, but there are also Cecidomyidae larvae from forest litter, having long hairs.
