Tetanops myopina Fll.

Yes, this is the most comprehensive key, but Elena and I still have some doubts concerning variability of key characters, so key is based on the literature date rather than on the field observations. It concerns flies from the Western Mediterranean region, from Spain to west Italian shores.

By far, known from Leningrad Region and Karelia in Russia

And I can add, that I have another species, Tetanops sintenisii, from three localities in Nizhny Novgorod region, ID confirmed by Val.
