Hello,
I photographed this fly near Lago di Pian Palù (TN), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on August 6th 2020. I think it is a Muscidae (maybe genus
Phaonia?), but is it possible to identify it from these photos?

Hi Emanuele, it's a male Phaonia pallida.
