One more photo from a Melanostoma from a buckwheat field in July in Germany.
Is it maybe Melanosotma mellinum or scalare?

It's a female M. mellinum: face shiny, not dusted and the yellow patches on the tergites 3 & 4 are apically rounded. (Fotogids ZWEEFVLIEGEN, André Schulten)
