Hello all:
This fly was seen on Sep. 19th in Shanghai, China. I think it belongs to tribe Keroplatini, is a further ID possible? Thanks in advance!

It is a species of
Heteropterna. Matile's major revision does not give a Chinese species by
septemtrionalis was recorded from China by Xu et al. (2007). The only 'but' I have is that it could be that too few of the apical flagellar segments are yellow for this specimen to be
septemtrionalis. In Matile's key it says four apical segments but here it is only two (or maybe three; difficult to make out exactly).

I have another blurry picture of the fly, and I think I can make out at least 3 yellow apical flagellar segments on the left side...... I guess this one will stay at genus-level.

Xu et al. mention "This species was originally described from Honshu and Shikoku in Japan. It is obviously a separate species based on flagellomeres 11–14 yellow and mesonotum brown with yellow stripes." The mesonotum does not seem to fit either, so it may be a diferent species. The pale spot on the seventh flagellomere is not mentioned in de description of
septemtrionalis either, leving the comination of pale marking on flaghellomer 7 and yellow flagellomeres 12-14 a combination not mentioned in any of the known Southeastern Asian species, as far as I know.
