Hello,
a 9 mm Tachinid on
Heracleum sphondylium on a meadow next to a small creek this morning (northwest Germany). ID possible?
BTW: There were many Tachinidae on the wing today:
Ectophasia crassipennis, 3
Phasia species (
barbifrons, obesa, hemiptera),
Tachina (cf.) fera,
Peleteria rubescens,
Eriothrix rufomaculata,
Mintho rufiventris,
Epicampocera succincta,
Linnaemya sp.,
Soliera sp.,
Siphona sp. and maybe others. I shot nearly 600 photos today (not only of Tachinids of course... B)). Some I'm planning to post here for ID or verification.
