Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae:Epicampocera ?

Hi.
This Tachinidae was observed in july on Heracleum sphondylium infloresence. Is it a specimen of Epicampocera ? There is some similarities with E. succincta. Are you in agreement with the genus ? Many thanks for your help. jean-Michel Garel.

Yes. Especially in females, the anterior margin of third antennal segment is peculiarly curved (hence “curvicornis” by Zetterstedt !)
