Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Melinda ?

SW France yesterday. They were several around the house. Body length about 8 mm.

Could this one be a male of this genus ?

Hi, I think it's a male Bellardia viarum - the veins are black and there are long hairs on the tergits.

No. It is green, rather than blue, and bigger hint: calypter is very dark (white in Melinda). So it is a Bellardia.
