I photographed this fly today (21st June 2020) on an woodland edge near the Elbe River (Niedersachsen, Germany).
Unfortunately, I#m not even sure about the genus.

Using the key in Bot & van de Meutter (2019), I get to
Paragus pecchioli.
Would you agree?

I do not have that particular key and usually leave it at
Paragus unless I can look at the male genitalia. I do not get too many of them.
