It is very similar to Meromyza eduardi (described from Poland and I think olny recorded from that country so far) except that the description of that species mentions that the last two tarsal segments are darkened and the photo illustrating the ocellar triangle gives the impression it is narrower in eduardi. So potentially a very interesting specimen.
That will teach you to release flies. :P Just a tip: If you have photographed a fly and preferably want to have its full name? Keep it!
