Hello,
is this fly from Leipzig/Saxony today (from a meadow with lots of bugs) a Gymnosoma species?

Yes, it is G. nitens. The black pattern is unusually broad, though. Typical host is Sciocoris.

Thank you very much for the help. I would never have thought of this fly. Attached is a photo of Sciocoris from the same place from the day before. Best regards, Maik
