Hi,

Is this Phyto melanocephala? Deflection of m has a short appendix, I don't know if this can happen in this species.

This is more common in Ph. discrepans. The vertex seems too broad, though.
Pteropleural bristle absent or present ?

I couldn’t agree more.

Except for this weird stub, it is a pretty typical male Ph. melanocephala. So I guess that is what it is.
