Hello,

Looking for more information about this black and white fly with red eyes. Did i get the Family right this time? Any hints for a Subfamily?

Local: My garden. Southernmost state of Brazil near Uruguay.

Anthomyiidae, Anthomyia sp. Male. Looks very similar to
Anthomyia silvestris which is found in Australia. Not sure about S.America though.
