Hello again,

I'm not sure about the Family this belongs (or if it belongs to the Diptera Order at all). It is a very strange and big green fly with huge blue/purple eyes and a long single horn-shaped antennae. I found it while cleaning our artificial pond, buried among some leaves. It was very lethargic and allowed me to manipulate it, so at first I thought it could be some dragonfly larva or cicada.

I'm on the southernmost state of Brazil, near Uruguay. It would be great if someone can give me some clues about what this is.

I was checking here, the Genus Hedriodiscus could be where this belongs.

Hedriodiscus pulcher is a very common occurrence on my area and its body structure is very similar. The eyes are a bit off, though.
