Hello,
I found this little (ca. 4 mm) Tachinidae in July, 2019, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany on Tanacetum vulgare.
Sorry, that i have only this photo, it was too fast to get another ;-)
Is it possible to identify it, perhaps as Phasia pusilla?
Kind regards
Birgit

Hi Birgit, I'm sorry, but I think it's not possible to tell pusilla from barbifrons without having a look at the face and the halteres.

Cheers, Eric

Hi Eric,
what a pity, that I couldn't take more pictures, especially from the front.
Anyway, thank you very much for having a look and giving me this informations. But if I understand aright, only P.pusilla or barbifrons are a possibility?
Kind regards
Birgit

Hi Birgit, P. theodori and mesnili should be similar but are South European species.

Kind regards, Eric
