Several species may be possible, most in the genus Chromatomyia Hardy, 1849 (formerly Phytomyza auctt. and Napomyza auctt.) and Aulagromyza Enderlein, 1936 (formerly Phytagromyza auctt. and Paraphytomyza auctt.). Use the 3 volumes manual of Hering, Erich Martin (1957): Bestimmungstabellen der Blattminen von Europa einschliesslich des Mittelmeerbeckens und der Kanarischen Inseln. Pakalniskis treated and listed all Lithuanian species from Lonicera between 1982 and 2006 in his 44 articles on Agromyzidae.
