I found this Gonia-like fly (12 mm in length) in my garden in Brussels, the 21th september. It seems that Gonia-species are usualy flying much earlyer then september? Are there other species that look like this in september?
thanks,

Female Tachina :) It has a wide frons - but the head isn't the right shape for Gonia
