Hello,

I can't find a similar light coloured Scatopsid in the gallery. Or is it teneral? About 3.5 mm, at housewall (northwest Germany). There were also many typical black Scatopsids on the wing in the last days.

Not everything posted in the forum also went to the gallery! See http://www.dipter...;pid=77922. In http://insecte.or...p?t=133503 the distinctive characters are highlighted. I found the species today as well. I am quite sure yours has also the yellow antenna base.

Hello Sundew,

that looks convincing. Many thanks!

Did you take any photos today? If you did, you can put one into the gallery ;). I'm sure, they will/would be better than mine. :S
