Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Pupae of Cecidomyiidae? 2015-03-28, N. Germany

Hi,

could these pupae possibly be Cecidomyiidae? It's just a guess based on the colour...

I know you can't see very much, but maybe it's enough.

Somebody in Sciaroidea, for sure -- the cocoon-building and body shape are distinctive.
