Hi, I found this Conopidae on July, 22th 2015 on a Flower. Is it C. scutellatus? Or another C? Any help very appreciated. Thanks.

I wonder if the snout is long enough for a Conops. Couldn't it be Leopoldius (Abrachyglossum) capitatum (compare http://diptera.in...pid=151137)? John Smit should know - you might write him a Private Message...

Hi Sundew, thanks for your help. For me there is no way to differenciate these species. I sended a PN to John. Thanks for your help.
