In the Fauna Europaea database (www.faunaeur.org) Loxocera albiseta is not listed from Belgium either, but that is probably based on the "Catalogue of Belgian Diptera". However, since Van der Goot and Van Veen mention this species from Belgium, it is apparently not new for Belgium :)!

The Fauna Europaea database is not upto date for many families. For the Psilidae not a single species is mentioned from The Netherlands!
