Finally the Tabanids have emerged in New Brunswick, Canada. 31 May 2007. Length: 14.5 mm.
This is
Hybomitra nuda which some authors consider to be
H. nitidifrons or ssp.
Hybomitra nitidifrons nuda; cf. the European
Hybomitra nitidifrons confiformis
