Hallo,

I found this insect in my garden in Zell am See, Salzburg, Austria.
Max. lenght 10-11mm The abdomen looks like the abdomen from a G. hastator.

Hi Niki, This is an ichneumon wasp of some kind, so would be better in the 'other insects' area. Also, when you say "G. hastator" - what is the "G"?

Oh, yes, it?s my mistake, sorry. "G" = Gasteruption.
Yes, it?s a wasp.

Ahh, definitely not a Gasteruption sp. see http://chrisraper...at=0&pos=1 :)

Gasteruption belongs to the evanoid group of wasps, which all have an unusual thorax/abdomen mounting point :)
