Hi,
does anybody know what this is fly?
I often see these on top of straw bales in the morning.
I took the photo on 1 January 2015 Kokkola, Finland.
Size 4-5mm.

Pentti.

Copromyzinae. I find the subfamily, or the literature, too confusing to give a genus.

Copromyza stercoraria. Two Copromyza females have relatively narrow sternites, but the other one (borealis) does not have entirely black femora.
