Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Clusiidae - Clusiodes caledonicus (most probable) from Serra da Estrela (new species for Iberian P.)

Spotted yesterday with my friends Marc Pollet and Anja in Serra da Estrela, more precisely near Manteigas in a DOLI paradise. :)

Clusiodes albimanus species group with only two fronto-orbital bristles. Looks very interesting.

"it will be necessary to see (or examine) the gonostylus of this Clusiodes. It could be also C. caledonicus or C. gentilis. From you photos I would suggest C. caledonicus as the most probable.
