Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tabanidae for ID, SW Spain --> Hybomitra zaballosi, female

These pictures are not mine. Were taken by a friend (José Fernández) in Badajoz, Extremadura, SW Spain on 06.04.2014. He asked for help and all I can say for sure is that it reminds me of Hybomitra. Any chance of knowing the species or at least confirming the genus? Sorry, no better pictures of the abdomen :(
