Hi !
A friend of mine would like to know the ID of that midge (# 5 mm) seen in France near Paris on 13 july 2013.
Is Chironomus (male) possible ?

Chironominae. Overall color resembles
Paratendipes albimanus. The short R5 and M ending in wing tip are inconsistent with that species.
