Aulagromyza trivittata (Loew, 1873), male, Agromyzidae; a junior synonym is A. tristriata Hendel, 1932. [Chloropidae possess a completely different chaetotaxy and possess no anal cell; agromyzid character: upper orbitals (ors) recurved, lower orbitals (ori) introverted]. Well to be seen certain characters of Aulagromyza Enderlein, 1936 pro parte: Both crossveins closely approximated, a pair of prescutellar bristles (prsc), an intraalar bristle (ia) between the supraalar (sa) and the 2nd dorsocentral (dc), a typical epistome between the clypeus (= praelabrum) and the face. Habitus a bit similar to Liriomyza Mik, 1894, but without the male stridulatory file on the pleuron of the abdomen. The larvae develop in Galium mollugo (Rubiaceae) like several other spp. in the genus.
