Hello

For confirmation, is that fly Eristalis tenax (Linnaeus, 1758), with her yellow shape on the abdomen ?

Louis,

You should not look at the yellow markings on the abdomen, but at the two stripes of hairs on the eyes. One can see it quite nicely on the left eye.
