People at Bugguide.net couldn't figure this one. I think it could be a fly larva. This was found in my wheelbarrow in the backyard, after I left plant material in it, it rained, and a few days later hundreds of these were swimming. I failed to collect any, I should have... sorry. These were seen August 28, 2010 in Raleigh NC USA. I will try to duplicate the conditions this year to see if I can get some.
