Found in Manu national park, Southern Peruvian Amazonian lowlands around an oxbow lake.

Thanks Paul, a good starting point! Definitely some of the most colourful flies that I saw out there! Next trip hopefully I'll get some collecting in.

Thecomyia, probably not determinable without male genitalia.
