FYI Larry, when I first joined up, Chris Raper gave me this detailed advice re Gallery uploads:

All photos to the Gallery need to be submitted and approved by me or Paul ... it can mean there is a delay between you submitting them and us approving and cataloguing them.

If you look on the left-hand side you should see Gallery Links and if you expand this menu by clicking the triangle you'll see "Submit Photo for Gallery". The limits/rules are basically the same as with photos on the forum.

There aren't really any rules but we just try to fill in gaps so if
you have a species/sex that isn't in the gallery (common or rare) or a much better photo than an existing one then that's a good reason for submitting. Behavioral shots are also useful if they show something interesting or characteristic of the species. The last word is with Paul but we don't delete many submissions - but we do try to stick below 7 photos of the same thing.

Paul likes to name them like "Tachina fera (male) (1)" and so on so if you could look at the gallery and name your photo so that it will slot in easily then it is appreciated - it saves us renaming the titles for each one.

NB from my (NickU's) perspective when trying to match my pics with possible IDs, , it really helps to know WHERE a shot was taken, and this isn't always listed from what I've seen. More thumbnails of lesser know families would help too and I don't know how those are selected/created.
