Hi, can someone identify this cca 40 cm long fish? Skiathos, Greece in Summer 2008.

Not easy to count scales and rays from that pic, but to me it looks like a silverside
Atherina sp., you have at least three to choose from in Greece if it is.
Does not fit your size estimate though :|
I'd like to see more of our wet friends ;)

Hi, this was my very last Chordate-photo that was unID-d, and I did not know where to sart with it. Thanks for the help Cyprinoid (could be it was much smaller)!
