Cimbicidae expert Andreas Taeger was kind enough to look at the photos of the Abia. He wrote: "... according to the figures this is very likely Abia candens (Konow 1887); according to our files (which are surely incomplete) this is a new record for Sweden. To be completely sure, a pinned specimen would be helpful". I hope A. Taeger don't mind me quoting him on this ...
