Paul, can I take it by the position of a comma after "Well" in the above statement that this is D.femoratus? Exclusion of the comma would put stress on the word "is", which would imply that this is a Dilophus sp. which you do not know.
English Language can lead to simple answers sounding either condescending at worst, or rather ambiguous, intended or otherwise.
Clarification would be appreciated. B).
