Hi,
Recently I saw this Scathophagid in a nature reserve east of Berlin. Is it possibly Nanna articulata?
Thanks for help, Sundew

Ah - "only" a Scathophaga again. But I just see a recent photo addition of Amaurosoma articulatum (which is said to be a synonym of Nanna articulata) in the left side bar. ID is certainly correct. Now I wonder if http://www.comman...ulata.html really shows that species or if it is also a Scathophaga. After seeing that pic I guessed that my fly could be the same.
I'd be glad to learn your opinion!
Regards, Sundew

Dear Sundew, you have good reasons to warn, it is Scathophaga too. Can't name it, sorry.
(Entre nous, you can write message to A.Ozerov and get ID :( )
