Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Can Fannia get a name?

Hi,
Again I am uncertain about a small black Muscid. My guess is Hydrotaea, possibly H. ignava, but confirmation or correction would be fine. The first pics are from May, 2008, the second from this week. I hope both show the same species...

1st is male Fannia (note the flattened abdomen) - wait for Nikita.
2d is male Hebecnema nigra.

Great! Oh, these little black ones... I already had my doubts about the same species (and even genus), as the upcurving facial bristle of No 2 seemed to lack in No 1, but I'm not familiar with the distinguishing characters. So your help is unpayable!
