Could it be a Pollenia sp ?
it is rather big compare to the previous i have seen in other places in France ...
riverbank of the Seine, 4 km from Paris, France, may 21 2009.

actually those golden hairs made me think about it, despite it looked bigger than the other IDed Pollenia sp that i shot before.
i put a second picture of what i think is the same sp ...
same place same day.
any chance to go further ?
